MARK STAFFORD Statement: as Poem.

Intensely Interested
In Nature.  A-rose in Anchorage.
Billowing on cloth, eight Stars.

encompassing perception.
vectors collapse on open minds and worlds
stitch ’tween valleys resounding.

en-shapen-ing sounds now seen
languagesenmesh the scattering.
sizable bangs entangled

What rules knowledge? Lies beneath.
the above so below, don’t you know?
Perhaps the plane, unconstrained.

Every story’s the same, if…
only pages translated our ages
unsealing luminous trees

A resurrected, en[xtra]woven <opti//*mal*//> thesis
The nature of this reality?
questioning this, I, being.

A sign anchored our voyage
preceding certainty’s coming
action expanding vision

unbalance duality
rooted, armatures evaded,
just too physical too me.

dry, iridescent pigments,
found, finessed, fortresses of feelings.
sources, sampled and congealed.
