PS Featured Recent Grad: Fina Grimes
Fina Grimes is a Philadelphia based fibers artist currently finishing up their undergrad degree at Moore College of Art and Design. Their practice is influenced by their background in sculpture and their desire to push the medium of fibers through their treatment and manipulation of surface texture. Fina uses fibers to create sculptural work that is texturally interesting while also evoking a sense physically in the viewer. They hope that through this the viewer will be able to relate to their work and better understand their experience living as a trans and disabled person.
